Apple Peel 520 Headed To US?

Last month, we told you about the Apple Peel 520. Today, it looks like it is headed to the US. The Peel is a case-like product that uses an Infineon base band chip to give your iPod touch the power of voice calling and SMS texting. Essentially, it turns your iPod touch into something closer to an iPhone without the added costs! According to Engadget, Go Solar USA has just finished a deal with Chinese developer Yosion to bring the Peel to the US sometime soon. While we still don't know when the Peel is expected stateside, it's expected at a price around $60. In addition, there has been no confirmation on whether the case will work with the fourth generation iPod touch, which is shaped differently than its predecessors.
