Halfbrick's Age Of Zombies Coming To iPhone And iPad This October
September 28, 2010
Halfbrick Studios, creators of the juicy and addictive Fruit Ninja, has another adventure starring Barry Steakfries coming to the App Store next month -- Age of Zombies.
Age of Zombies is actually a rather successful PSP Mini title being ported to our favorite mobile gaming platform. The iOS version will, however, sport improved visuals, new menus, and new controls, making it unique in its own way.
The game revolves around the gun-happy hero Barry Steakfries, as he attempts to save the world from the evil Professor Brains who intends to destroy all of mankind by sending zombies throughout time.
In the game you will be controlling Barry via two on-screen joysticks. You will have to blast your way through five worlds with multiple levels, or you can take on the endless survival challenge and move up the global leaderboards. Barry will be faced with all kinds of zombie enemies, like zombie cavemen, mummies, ninjas, and even a zombie T-Rex.
Although the App Store is absolutely loaded with zombie games, Age of Zombies should still be on your watch list. Halfbrick Studios has had the golden touch as of late, which will hopefully mean that Age of Zombies for iPhone and iPad will meet or even surpass expectations set by the original version.
Age of Zombies will be available in the App Store sometime in October. Check out the early screenshots of the iPhone version below to get an idea of what to expect. We will let you know the moment the game hits the App Store.
