September 13, 2010
The iPad arrives in China this week. Apple has announced that the Wi-Fi models of its revolutionary device will be arriving at the two Apple retail stores in China, as well as select Apple Authorized Resellers, this Friday, September 17 starting at 10:00 a.m. iPad Wi-Fi models in China will be available for a suggested retail price of CNY3988 for 16GB, CNY4788 for 32GB and CNY5588 for 64GB. Apple did not announce when, or if, iPad Wi-Fi/3G models would be arriving in the world's most populous nation. For more information please visit www.apple.com.cn. Meanwhile, the waiting time to receive an iPad in other countries continues to shorten. When ordering the iPad through the Apple website, the company is promising to ship within 24 hours. This timeframe seems universal throughout the world for each country that already has the iPad available. So for our Chinese friends, enjoy welcoming the iPad to your shores this week!
