iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: The Complete Edgar Allan Poe, Atlantis, Farm Break And More

Today's list includes an app for fans of Edgar Allan Poe, an online bingo game, an underwater action game, and much more. Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: iDealCalc ($.99 -> Free): An app that allows you to analyze margins quickly and easily.  A slider at the bottom of the screen allows you change the discount amount and see how your margins will change.  You can also see how variances in costs will change your profit margins.  The app includes a currency tracker as well. iDealCalc is available for free for a limited time.  It has a four-star rating, and a total of eight ratings. Super KO Boxing 2 ($.99 -> Free): A stylish arcade boxing game that will have you going t0e-to-toe with 15 unique foes.  The game features basic on-screen controls, and to defeat your opponent, you will have to time your swings just right.  Super KO Boxing 2 includes multiple modes of play, achievements, and the ability to purchase roid rage in-app in order to get a leg-up on your competition. Super KO Boxing 2 is available for free today only (9/8). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 370 ratings. MusicDraw ($.99 -> Free): An app that allows you to draw on the screen to create music.  You can play the piano, electric guitar or drums in three different styles: blues, jazz, or boogie.  A grid can be overlaid in order to better understand where each note is, and the color of your lines can be changed as well. MusicDraw is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 101 ratings. Bingo Star Live 90 ($.99 -> Free): A digital online version of bingo.  Simply enter a room, buy a card, and then sit back and watch as you hopefully get bingo.  The game is free to play, meaning you only need to spend in-game money.  You will need to register for an online account, however; and you don't actually control the card marking -- the computer will do it for you. Bingo Star Live 90 is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of eight ratings. Farm Break ($.99 -> Free): A puzzle game where you must help three ex-con sheep, Knuckles, Big Jim and Sally, escape from Farmer Brown's farm.  You will be making your way through 40 unlockable levels by jumping over fences, dodging laser, landing on platforms and so much more.  The game features OpenFeint integration as well. Farm Break is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 12 ratings. Birdie in Trouble ($.99 -> Free): A platforming puzzle game where your little birdie must jump on each leaf before reaching the exit. Some leaves have special abilities and will make your birdie do things that are out of your control. The game features 75 levels, and OpenFeint integration. Birdie in Trouble is available for free today only (9/8). It has a three-star rating, and a total of 1,123 ratings. Atlantis - Legend of the Mermaids ($.99 -> Free): An underwater action game.  Make your way through five stages, each with four levels, by taking down everything in your path.  Pick up different weapons as you progress in order to defeat the dreadful bosses at the end of each stage.  The game features colorful graphics, on-screen controls and OpenFeint integration. Atlantis is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 16 ratings. The Complete Edgar Allan Poe ($.99 -> Free): Contains over 150 works, including all of Edgar Allan Poe's tales and poems, along with some essays, his only novel, and some uncompleted works.  Everything is sorted by category.  You can choose between two scrolling modes, and multiple text sizes. The Complete Edgar Allan Poe is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 87 ratings. Universal: Analog Digital Clock ($.99): A pretty basic digital clock with one major twist.  There is a man inside of your iDevice changing the numbers from behind the scenes!  You can see him moving behind the numbers, and when the time changes, he will draw the new number in.  The app also features portrait and landscape modes, the ability to play music in the background, and screen lock. Analog Digital Clock is available for free for a very limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 27 ratings. iPad only: The Complete Edgar Allan Poe ($.99 -> Free):  Just like the iPhone version above, only optimized for iPad. The Complete Edgar Allan Poe is available for free for a limited time.  It has a four-star rating, and a total of 32 ratings.
