($2.99 -> Free): A violent and bloody side-scrolling action game where you are trying to escape Ward B. Punch, kick, and utilize weapons in order to make your way through each of the black, white, and red levels. The game features multiple modes of play, advanced physics, and OpenFeint integration. The only major drawback is the constant barrage of in-app purchase requests. Cut Him Up! is available for free today only (9/12). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 50 ratings. Gravity Runner ($.99 -> Free): A mix between a running game and a regular platformer. Your character automatically runs, and you must simply tap the screen to avoid obstacles. But unlike most running games, in this one you can actually run into boxes and walls without dying -- but not spikes -- since you are graded on how fast you complete each level. The game features 28 levels, an unlockable endless mode, power-ups, and OpenFeint integration. Gravity Runner is available for free today only (9/12). It has a three-star rating, and a total of 52 ratings. Country Driver ($.99 -> Free): A fairly amusing driving game where your goal is to hit as many sheep as you can while reaching the checkpoints before time expires. Sheep will stick to your wind shield when hit, impairing your ability to drive, but you can use your window wipers to remove them. Your car can be controlled via tilt or touch controls. The game features ScoreLoop integration as well to provide leaderboards. Country Driver is available for free for a very limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 176 ratings. iPad only: Geared for iPad ($2.99 -> Free): A challenging puzzle game that requires you to grab gears from the bottom of the screen and place them in the level in order to make the rest of the gears spin. The game features 150 unique levels with varying difficulties, the ability to skip to any level, awards and rankings, and much more. Geared for iPad is available for free today only (9/12). The app must be free for at least one whole day.
It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
