iPhone:
Pebble Jump ($.99 -> Free): A Chinese checkers inspired puzzle game. Jump pebbles over each other in order to have your final jump land on the ‘home’ space. The game features 100 puzzles, three levels of difficulty, a hint system, undo and redo, and five different skin choices.
Pebble Jump is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 63 ratings.
Blitz - WWII Fury Campaign ($.99 -> Free): A retro-inspired bombing game that simply requires you to tap the screen to unleash bombs from above. Hit as many blimps and vehicles as you can as you pass by the screen in order to move up the online leaderboards.
Blitz is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 26 ratings.
Background Splitter! DIY Wallpaper ($.99 -> Free): A background creation tool that allows you to import and combine images. You can choose a different picture for each area of the screen -- unlock, status bar, time, and photo -- and combine them into one image. The image can then be saved to be used as your personal wallpaper, or you can just choose one of the already created ones.
Background Splitter! is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 11 ratings.
Zippit ($.99 -> Free): A puzzle game that requires you to form a specific shape from specific colored pieces to pass each level by sliding pieces around. As you progress, the shapes become more complex, which makes creating them in the allotted amount of time all the more difficult. The game also features a local leaderboard.
Zippit is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating, and a total of seven ratings.
iShowFacebook ($1.99 -> Free): Makes viewing videos and photos on Facebook a breeze. You can watch videos, view aggregated feeds of all of your friends' albums and photos, comment on them, and even download them for offline viewing.
iShowFacebook is available for free through the weekend. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 98 ratings.
Universal:
Splode ($1.99 -> Free): A simple but visually appealing game that requires you to pop a specific number of grayed out splodes by creating ripples. You can create a ripple by tapping the screen, and any splode the ripple touches will pop. If a splode pops near another splode, it can start a chain reaction. The game features two modes of play, and OpenFeint integration.
Splode is available for free today only (9/25). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 94 ratings.
