iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Stair Dismount, The Creeps!, 8bit Games - Flying And More

Today's list includes a classic tower defense game, an app that allows you to just say it and mail it, a ragdoll physics game and more. ($.99 -> Free): An absolute classic tower defense game.  Creeps are living in your closet, and you must defeat them with a variety of towers, including toy blasters, glue bottles, flashlights and more.  The game features destructible environments, which adds quite a bit to the gameplay.  Additional content such as new levels, enemies and modes, are available via in-app purchase. The Creeps! is available for free today only (9/6). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 130 ratings. 8bit Games - Flying ($1.99 -> Free): A new take on the old 8-bit video games.  Pilot an airplane through a city using tilt controls, and see how far you can go without crashing.  The 8-bit graphics provide a good amount of detail while bringing back some fond memories.  You can change the color of the screen from green to orange or white, and change the difficulty in "Options."  The game features Scoreloop integration as well. 8bit Games - Flying is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of six ratings. Blastian ($2.99 -> Free): A top-down shoot 'em up that features tilt and touch controls.  Pilot your ship through nine levels while blasting anything and everything that gets in your way.  Tap the screen to unleash your special weapons like smart bombs, mega blasters and more.  The game features OpenFeint integration as well. Blastian is available for free today only (9/6).  It has a three-star rating, and a total of 34 ratings. Say it & Mail it Recorder ($2.99 -> Free): Forget typing an email, just say it and mail it.  Simply tap "Say it" to start recording, tap "Mail it" to stop and show the email window, add a picture, video, or Google Map location, and then send it off.  Use it anyway you wish, the possibilities are nearly endless. Say it & Mail it Recorder is available for free today only (9/6). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 82 ratings. Universal: Stair Dismount Universal ($.99 -> Free): A physics-based game where you must push Mr. Dismount down flights of stairs in hopes of scoring the most points.  You can choose to  push Mr. Dismount from any point on his body, and then tap the screen to choose the amount of force behind your push.  The more Mr. Dismount tumbles and flips, the more points you score.  The game features a total of 12 levels, the ability to add a face to any one of the characters, OpenFeint integration and more. Stair Dismount Universal is available for free today only (9/6). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 250 ratings.
