LucasArts' acclaimed and award-winning point and click adventure game, Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge, is on sale for $.99 for a limited time. But this isn't just any old $.99 sale, Monkey Island 2 for iPhone has never been on sale before, and to top it off, it was formerly priced at $7.99.
Monkey Island 2 once again allows you to follow the misadventures of the wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood. This time around, however, Threepwood is on a journey to find a mysterious treasure and win back Elain’s love.
The iOS version of the game includes enhanced graphics with a re-imagined contemporary art style, voice overs from the original cast, re-mastered and re-recorded musical score, the ability to transition between special edition and classic modes at anytime, a hint system, two different means of control, and object highlighting.
