October 22, 2010
Boom! Today, another thousand new apps arrived in the App Store. Let me break it to you, most of them are really bad. Yet, there are a few somewhat interesting ones. Here they are:
Readlr (iPhone) allows you to "Follow your dashboard feed, or browse a specific tumblelog. The latest 20 posts for each tumblelog are downloaded locally."
It looks great.
It goes for $.99.
Rotate Video (iPhone) "is an application that rotates videos without changing the quality. It uses iOS 4 APIs to access video files directly from Photo Library. When import is successful it is possible to rotate video file many times (without quality loss) and save it back to the library." [sic]
It goes for $.99.
FTSE (iPhone) allows you to "obtain a quick view of global market performance via our streaming Index mobile application." It includes a Watchlist and price alerts.
It's free.
That's it for today. Did we miss anything? Tell us in the comments!
