October 26, 2010
Boom! Today, another thousand new apps arrived in the App Store. Let me break it to you, most of them are really bad. Yet, there are a few somewhat interesting ones. Here they are:
MyTimes (iPhone) is a new, clear black on white Google RSS reader client for your iPhone. It lets you group the posts to save you time.
It goes for $.99.
Windowshop (iPad) is a brand new official Amazon iPad app. It looks really good. "Designed and built without compromise just for iPad. It is an amazing new way to shop Amazon's millions of items. Same selection, same low prices, same fast delivery, same benefits of your Amazon Prime membership – just a completely new fluid interface designed specifically for lean-back, touch screen tablets."
It's free.
The US AR Guide (iPhone) is an augmented reality app that will help you find places of interest around you in the US, without the need to bother with menus and lists.
It goes for $.99.
iTunes Live: ARIA Awards Concert Series 2010 (Universal) is a new app by Apple that will allow you to: "stream exclusive performances from some of Australia’s greatest artists and key nominees for the 2010 ARIA Awards."
It's free.
That's it for today. Did we miss anything? Tell us in the comments!
