Boom! Today, another thousand new apps arrived in the App Store. Let me break it to you, most of them are really bad. Yet, there are a few somewhat interesting ones. Here they are:
TeamTweet (iPhone) "is an iPhone application that makes it possible for anyone to create live reports from sports events, so that fans, family and friends can follow what’s going on, wherever they are. It does this by combining a specialized user-interface for sports-events with the power of Twitter."
It goes for $1.99.
SpyVid (iPhone) is an app that allows you to film using your iPhone "while appearing to operate your phone normally with the help of an “alibi activity"."
It goes for $1.99.
HangOut Square (iPhone) is "a new FourSquare application on iPhone. If you are a FourSquare user, you may want to have a new FourSquare app that are different than the existing ones. HangOut Square gives you an alternate FourSquare application that lets you know where your friends are, which hangouts your friends like most, which clubs are hot, which local restaurant are in, and more and more..." [sic]

AnyRecord (iPhone) "is a easy to use application.With the Any Record application,you will have a quicker and more convenient way to track your information.You can input your any information,weight,height,store,sales data and etc." [sic] It generates graphs and such.

TalkMe.IM (iPhone) "is a free Google Talk client with iOS4 backgrounding and local notifications which offers exciting Instant Messenger, Voice Calling over WiFi and 3G and Location Sharing features."
It goes for free.
Smart Pad (iPad) "is the Zen of Productivity. It features a Calendar, Organizer, Task Manager, Integrated Notes system, and Time Tracker all in one. Start with our adaptive SmartTime™ logic that looks at your appointments and finds time for your tasks. " It looks great, but it's a bit expensive.
