Boom! Today, another thousand new apps arrived in the App Store. Let me break it to you, most of them are really bad. Yet, there are a few somewhat interesting ones. Here they are:
Find a FaceTimer (iPhone) is a sort of FaceTime Chatroulette. It lets you find random people online that are up for some video chat. Watch out for the creeps.
It's free.
Blabr (iPhone) is a simple app that allows you to exchange short audio messages "privately to friends OR public to the world! Works with the blabr.com website, Facebook and Twitter."[sic]
It's free.
Logitech Harmony (iPhone) is "a companion app for your Logitech Revue system. Use it in place of - or in addition to - the keyboard-based controller that comes with Logitech Revue with Google TV."
It's free.
Phonocaster (iPad) allows you to "Turn your iPad into a UPnP player, controller and audio media browser. Phonocaster enables you to browse and play your music collection stored on compatible UPnP media servers either on your iPad or on other compatible UPnP players." It looks really well made.
It goes for $4.99.
