Attending The Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear? Then You Need This App
October 28, 2010
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's highly anticipated Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear will be taking place in only two days at the National Mall in Washington, DC, and no matter if you intend to jump on the sanity bus or the fear wagon, you are going to need this just-released app in order to get everything you can out of the event.
The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear App is loaded with tools to help you get the most out of the rally. It includes a detailed map of the rally site so you can find your way to and around the area in case you haven't been to DC before. Once you have finally arrived at the National Mall, you can check-in for fear and/or sanity on Foursquare via the app to prove you were really there.
The app also contains a portal to upload photos to the official photostream that were taken during the rally, or you can simply view photos that others have uploaded. You can even follow Stephen Colbert and the Rally4Sanity Twitter feeds to keep up on the latest developments, or check out the news and FAQs sections.
The app includes a welcome video as well, but at this moment it simply displays a message asking everyone to come back on October 30th. Apparently on that day an app-exclusive message from Jon and Stephen will be available, so even if you aren't physically at the rally, you can feel a little special.
The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear App is now available in the App Store for free. So which side will you be on this weekend? Sanity or fear?
