Take Five Is A Brilliant App That Restarts Your Music
October 13, 2010
How many times have you been listening to music on your iPhone/iPod touch only to be interrupted by a phone call or a pesky coworker? Now, there is an app that will allow you to quickly turn your music off and then start it again automatically in a few minutes.
Take Five is a brilliant $.99 app that helps remind you that you were listening to great music or your latest podcast. Created by The IconFactory, the app restarts your music if you forget to resume it, by fading your music back in after five minutes.
If you are listening to music and are interrupted, simply click on the Take Five app. It will pause your audio and begin a five minute countdown. If you need to add more time, simply change the time using the app’s “slide to pause” feature.
Features include:
What I like most about the app is its cool user interface. It includes the album art, skip and back buttons and a pause button. Plus, you’ll see the current track’s artist, title and album. You can also launch your playlists from within the app, which is nice. Finally, if you’re using Apple’s earbuds, one click of the remote starts the five minute pause feature. Take Five is available today in the App Store.
