When it comes to managing and sharing files on your iPad, GoodReader is without a doubt a must-have. Well, it keeps getting better as the app just got a major update with tons of new features and performance enhancements.
First of all, GoodReader now allows you to take PDF annotations including notes, highlights, markups and drawings, which you can then save and even edit later either on your computer or on another iPad. You will be given different sets of menu depending on whether you tap on the file , text, an existing annotation, or any free space in a page within the file. All this using single taps or a tap and hold gestures.
Furthermore, GoodReader for iPad now also lets you select and copy text directly in a PDF document. Also, the frequent crashing issues of the previous version should now be resolved. Finally, the app now allows you to hide PDF watermarks.
In short, this update just made GoodReader an even more useful productivity app and I won't be surprised if it becomes the number one productivity app for the iPad very soon. Also, if you are a student, this is just what you need.
GoodReader for iPad is available now, for $.99.
