Hot off the presses -- this app just made it into the App Store, mere minutes ago! Just in time for trick-or-treating, if you live in the U.S. or earlier time zones!
The name says it all: Haunted House Halloween - Camera Motion Activated Scary Sound Effects. The app uses the camera on the back of your iDevice to sense motion and scare anyone and anything that moves nearby!
Tap the “i” to set the device to the sound of your choice. Choose from dozens of spooky sounds including: animals, ghosts, screams, cackling witches, monsters, mechanical sounds, and even decapitation. Eww. If you like, you can shake your device for different backgrounds. Move the slider to the desired motion sensitivity. In the higher ranges, the bat of an eyelash will set it off! It really does work!
Set up your device where someone or something is likely to pass by, whether it’s your kids, your pets, or some lucky trick-or-treaters!
