iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: GrandPar Golf, 5K Coach, The Idiot Test 3, And More

Today's list includes a 3D golfing game featuring the elderly, a couple brain teasing apps, a 5K training app, and much more. GrandPar Golf is available for free until October 16th. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 88 ratings. Stone Wars ($1.99 -> Free): A Territory War-inspired turn-based game where you must defeat the other tribe by firing your weapons at different angles.  The game features multiple modes of play, including online multiplayer battles.  It also features Plus+ integration. Stone Wars is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 6,773 ratings. Attack Balls ($1.99 -> Free): A ball launching game where you simply flick the ball from the bottom towards a ball of matching color above.  You must do so as quickly as possible since the balls are constantly moving downwards.  The game features an endless number of levels, and Retina graphics. Attack Balls is available for free today only (10/1). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 379 ratings. uKnowMe ($.99 -> Free): A fairly amusing app that allows you to trick people into thinking you are an important celebrity.  The app mimics a regular mobile web browser, allowing you to input information and even your own picture to make it look like a search for your name truly yields celebrity-like results. uKnowMe is available for free for the month of October. It has a five-star rating, and a total of five ratings. 5K Coach ($2.99 -> Free): Helps you train for a 5K event in a variety of ways.  Not only is it able to track your progress by utilizing your iPhone's GPS but it also helps you achieve goals and maintain a schedule, while also providing feedback, mood tracking, nutritional tips, and much more. 5K Coach is available for free for a limited time. It has a five-star rating, and a total of nine ratings. The Idiot Test 3 ($.99 -> Free): Provides you with a series of brain teasing tasks so you can prove that you truly aren't an idiot.  You can post your results to Facebook as well. The Idiot Test 3 is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 2,273 ratings. The Stupid Test 5 ($.99 -> Free): A brain teaser game that features over 200 questions across three game categories.  Watch the “stupidity meter” as you answer each question.  If you do poorly, it will plummet from genius to anti-genius and you will lose the game. The Stupid Test 5 is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating, and a total of 1,758 ratings. Photo Spot ($.99 -> Free): A spot the difference-style game where you must find the four differences in each of the 127 photos.  Time is always against you, but you can employ three hints to avoid failing.  The game features local and global leaderboards as well. Photo Spot is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating, and a total of 416 ratings. FrogHop ($.99 -> Free): A simple arcade game where you must tap the correct ball color to make the frog leap ahead.  If you tap the wrong color, the frog will end up in the pond.  Tap the wrong color three times and the game is over.  It features local leaderboards and Facebook integration. FrogHop is available for free today only (10/1). It has a three-star rating, and a total of 18 ratings. Jam Packed! ($1.99 -> Free): A time-based puzzle game that requires you to pack shapes into various containers.  It features over 100 levels, varying difficulties, and the ability to add new puzzles via in-app purchase. Jam Packed! is available for free today only (10/1). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating, and a total of 2,040 ratings. iPad only: Vanish Balls HD ($.99 -> Free): A physics-based puzzle game developed by a 14-year-old using GameSalad.  Simply remove the blocks from the playing field in order to get the balls to collide.  It features a total of 18 levels. Vanish Balls HD is available for free for an undisclosed amount of time.  It has a three-star rating, and a total of five ratings.
