iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Low Grav Racer 2, Doodle Fall Down, i-Scare, And More

Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: Low Grav Racer 2 ($2.99 -> Free): A futuristic fast-paced racing game that will have you tilting your device side to side in order to blaze around each of the 18 tracks on your way to the finish line.  The game features two modes of play, six ships to choose from, three race classes, power-ups, and Plus+ integration. Low Grav Racer 2 is available for free today only (10/17). It has a four-star rating and a total of 373 ratings. Doodle Fall Down ($.99 -> Free): An endless falling game that requires you to tilt your device from side to side to keep moving downwards and avoid the spikes.  The game features a variety of obstacles and power-ups, and OpenFeint integration. Doodle Fall Down is available for free today only (10/17). It has a three-star rating and a total of 83 ratings. Cut Him Up! ($.99 -> Free): A violent and bloody side-scrolling action game where you are trying to escape Ward B.  Punch, kick, and utilize weapons in order to make your way through each of the black, white, and red levels.  The game features multiple modes of play, advanced physics, and OpenFeint integration. One major drawback, however, is the constant barrage of in-app purchase requests. Cut Him Up! is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating and a total of 132 ratings. i-Scare ($.99 -> Free): An entertainment app that will help you scare friends and family members.  First you must select a "safe image" from the built-in library or one of your own.  Then, select a "scare image" from either the built-in library or one of your own.  Finally, pick a scare sound and your scare method: timer, touch, or movement.  Then just hand your device over to whoever it is your are trying to scare and watch what happens. i-Scare is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating and a total of five ratings. iPad: Bartleby's Book of Buttons Vol. 1: The Far Away Island ($2.99 -> Free): A short bed-time story that allows your child to easily follow along and interact by flipping switches, pressing buttons, sliding sliders, rotating the iPad, and more.  Just think of it as a digital pop-up book adventure. Bartleby's Book of Buttons Vol. 1: The Far Away Island is available for free today only (10/17). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 51 ratings. • It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
• The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
