iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Hotshot Pool, Dream Jump, Gunner, And More

Disclaimer: All prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. iPhone: Hotshot Pool ($.99 -> Free): Dubbed "the Angry Birds of pool games," Hotshot Pool requires you to get the ball in the hole in as few shots as possible.  The game features 100 puzzling levels with star ratings for each, five stages and characters to unlock, and all kinds of achievements to earn. Hotshot Pool is available for free today only (10/14). It has a three-star rating and a total of 22 ratings. Dream Jump ($.99 -> Free): A endless jumping game where you must tilt your device to jump on platforms to make your way up the OpenFeint leaderboards.  Collect stars to give yourself an extra boost, just don't miss a platform or moving cloud. Dream Jump is available for free today only (10/14). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 12 ratings. GuruBear - Best Friends ($1.99 -> Free): Tells the story of the friendship between Ben Bear and Chris Croc in a variety of ways.  Your child can read the story manually, have it read to them, or you can record your own voice while reading and have it played back to your child. GuruBear - Best Friends is available for free for a limited time. It has a five-star rating and a total of 13 ratings. Gunner ($1.99 -> Free): Defend your ship from the approaching asteroids.  The left on-screen joystick allows you to spin your turret, while the button on the right allows you to fire it.  The game features six mission types, 10 power-ups, over 100 achievements to earn, and 90 upgrades. Gunner is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating and a total of eight ratings. iPad: GuruBear - Best Friends ($2.99 -> Free): Just like the iPhone version above, only optimized for iPad. Developers: If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:

• The app must be free for at least one whole day.
• It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
• The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
