Ever wondered what you would look like as a vampire? Not the scary, ugly vampires of years past, but the glamorous vampires of the Twilight/True Blood era? Wonder no more - now you can see for yourself!

Start by choosing a photo from your photo library, or snapping one in-app. Be sure to use or take a front-facing, well-lit photo where you can clearly see the subject’s eyes. After all, dramatic Topaz, Crimson, or Black eyes aren’t nearly as dramatic if the subject’s eyes are half-shut. You can choose a photo with multiple subjects -- vampirify as many people in one photo as you’d like.

First place the eye-selectors on the subject’s eyes; adjust the size and shape as needed for precise iris coverage. Then choose your eye color. Next, you get fangs. Place, size, rotate, and lighten/darken them as you like. And now for the finishing touch -- if you like the sparkly, Cullens-in-the-sunlight-style vampires, then go ahead and add as many sparkles as you like. You do have the option to skip or undo the sparkles if you’d rather go old school.

Now save your vampire alter ego to your camera roll or post directly to Facebook or Twitter!

This is a great example of one of those simple apps that just does one rather frivolous thing -- but it’s a really fun thing, and it’s done extremely well. It’s fun for parties, adding some flavor to your Facebook profile picture, and generally delighting your friends.
