Take a picture and then paint your face, or your kid’s face, with kid-friendly cute, funny, and spooky character faces. Get the fun of painting on a new persona without the messy face paints. This is for anyone who likes to change up their photos -- it’s not only for kids, and not just for Halloween!
Choose a photo from your photo library or take one in-app. You’ll want a forward-facing picture for best results. Next, choose one of more than two dozen different designs. You get Spiderman, tiger, butterfly, Dracula, Gollum, mummy, skeleton, dog, clown, jack o’lantern, pirate, zebra, and many more.
Tap “make paint” to adjust the placement of eyes and mouth. Move the dotted lines as needed to frame the face, then move the eye and mouth ovals to fit your subject’s face. Tap “OK” to make the magic happen. For fine-tuning, tap the eraser icon to erase any stray paint. Hit “OK” again when you’re done, and from there you can save to your camera roll, Facebook, or email.
I found some of the faces to be incredibly realistic, others less so. It’s easy to use and definitely worth checking out if you want to get some really silly pictures. More face designs are coming soon, and an iPad version is in the works.
