Simply Postcards App Helps You Capture A Moment On Paper
October 28, 2010
Digital photography and the apps to edit those photos has changed an industry. Amateur photographers can now point, click and change the look of each photo without the need for expensive software or a trip to a fancy lab.
It has also changed how we look at photos. When was the last time you actually printed out your photos and put them in an album or displayed them in a frame? How many of them are simply taking up space in your iPhoto library?
A new app called Simply Postcards hopes to change how we think about photography. Rather, it tries to help us begin easily printing our photos again.
From within the app, you can send photos directly to the Simply Postcards website. In a few days, high quality prints of your photos arrive at your home or they can be sent to your loved ones anywhere in the world. Each photo can include text and is printed on high quality, heavy stock paper. Prints start for as low as $1 each.
Simply Postcards is not intended to process the 50 photographs you took on Halloween. It is a way to save those perfect shots that you want forever saved in a frame.
The Simply Postcards app is available for free in the App Store for your iPhone/iPod touch. To really encourage use of its product, the folks at Simply Postcards are offering the processing and shipment of one postcard for free.
