Sneak Peek: Hand On With We Bowl - Bowling Gets The "We" Treatment

We Bowl is the newest game to enter the “We” series, and this time it’s from Freeverse who have made the Flick Bowling games in the past. We Bowl is a more user friendly and social bowling experience. The game takes many aspects of Skee-Ball, Freeverse’s most popular title, and applies them to bowling.
You just line up the ball, and flick across the screen to send the ball down the lane, and as it’s rolling you can flick the screen rapidly to apply spin. You earn tickets for each game you play which can be used to buy prizes including different lanes, walls, balls, and pins. For every roll there is a power-up token on the lane, and if you hit it you get a random power-up or whammy.
The power-ups change the traditional bowling experience to a much more arcade style as you can send a boulder ball, triple ball, or magnet ball and then deal with iron pins, mini pins, or psycho ball. The game is perfect for pick up and play for anyone as just a flick sends the ball is rolling down the lane. The game features a deluxe avatar system as well to really customize your look.
Unlike Skee-Ball the regular items you buy can be used to decorate your lane rather than just sitting in your loot cabinet. The social aspect lets you play a bowling game with any of your Plus+ friends by sending challenges. You bowl three frames, and then you wait for your opponent to play.
Now it wouldn’t be a “We” game without consumable in-app purchases, and this time it’s coins. To play solo it costs one coin, but each time you level up you earn more coins so you never have to spend a cent to just play some bowling. The coins are mostly used to increase the multiplier to earn more tickets which you use to buy the various items.
It doesn't’ cost any coins to play with a friend, and you automatically get a two times multiplier on your tickets earned from a friend match. There are also ads every three frames in solo play.
We Bowl is live in the Canadian App Store for late beta testing, and will be released worldwide soon, and will let you know when it is.
