Sobees My Friends iPad Facebook App Updated to Support Places - Plus Win a Copy!

If you've been using the Sobees My Friends Facebook client on your iPad, you'll be glad to know that the app was updated to version 1.2 a couple of days ago to bring in several new features, including support for Facebook Places. While exploring the new version, I couldn't help but be amazed at how the app was improved. Here's a quick rundown of the new features of sobees My Friends:

Of course, the most interesting of these new features is the app's support for Facebook Places. But, don't get your hopes too high because the app will only let you follow your friends' check-in activities and not check-in yourself. It also only gives you access to the 29 most recent check-ins. The good news is, you can view your friends' check-ins in a nice looking Google world map, even if Facebook Places is not yet supported in your country. Still, a worthy update, right?
