Steve Jobs Gifts iPods To The Rescued Chilean Miners

After over 68 days of hell, the Chilean miners that are being rescued today will have a nice surprise when they finally see the light of the day again. LeFigaro has just announced that each of them will be getting a brand new iPod to cheer them up, courtesy of our venerable leader Steve Jobs himself. Yes, they come as a personal gift.
We don't know which model it will be, and we're hoping it's at least an iPod touch. Nevertheless, it's a very nice gesture that we thought was worth pointing out. Also, assuming they have access to Wi-Fi and FaceTime, they'll hopefully never be out of reach from their loved ones from now on.
