TipTop, On5's Lemmings-Style Line-Drawing Game, Arrives For iPad For Free

October 21, 2010
On5, the developers of hit iOS games like Charadium, Quizarium, and We Doodle, have released a universally compatible version of TipTop, a title originally released for iPhone and iPod touch over six months ago. In TipTop, your goal is to get your ambitious troops through the levels filled with killer obstacles by drawing lines over them.  Lines are drawn simply by touching and dragging your finger across the screen, and you can do a little pre-planning by tapping and dragging with two fingers to scope out the level.  Lines will eventually disappear, however, so don't get too far ahead of yourself, otherwise your troops may plummet to their deaths. The game also features Plus+ leaderboards and achievements, so you can compare your best times with your friends. This new universally compatible version of TipTop actually replaces the iPhone-specific version in the App Store, so it's kind of like a re-launch.  The game includes a total of four levels from the first environment for you to try out for free, with the rest being available via in-app purchase, which also removes the ads. If you haven't given TipTop a try, now is the time.  We also have an in-depth review of the original, full version of the game for you to check out if you desire.
