Adobe Ideas is one of the San Jose, California-based company's free apps for iOS. The app was originally released in April for the iPad only. Adobe Ideas is a basic and free drawing app for iOS. One of the most requested features was for it to be released as a Universal app. The recent update to version 1.1 adds that requested Universal support.
Adobe Ideas is now Retina optimized and multitasking enabled on all devices (including iPads running iOS 4.2). The app now also supports undo functionality.
The update also adds layers. Provided for free within the app is the ability to add a photo layer. Photos can be added directly from the camera or a photo album on the device. To add additional layers (up to 10), there is an available in-app purchase of $4.99.
Adobe Ideas is available for free in the App Store.
