App Store Profiles The Many Cooking Apps

We’ve spent a lot of time recently highlighting cooking apps for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. Now, Apple has joined in the fun too. They recently began calling attention to cooking apps now available in the App Store. Under the heading: “Holiday Cooking Apps - Chefs, Recipes, and Inspiration,” Apple profiles apps from six different categories. These include: Inspiration, Recipes, Chefs & Cooks, Drinks, Shopping, and Tools & Basics.

Some of the highlighted apps are also the Store’s most popular. These include: The Photo Cookbook, Martha’s Everyday Food: Fresh & Easy Recipes and FreshDirect. Also included; The iPad App of the Week: Celebrate the Holidays with Better Homes and Gardens. With the holiday season approaching, now is the perfect time to brush up on your cooking techniques.
