Firemint Reveals That Real Racing 2 Will Feature Real Cars

November 17, 2010
Apparently Firemint doesn't believe we can handle all of the goodness that will hopefully be Real Racing 2 all at once, as the developer from down under has decided to leak out bits and pieces of information in intervals.  Last week we got a glimpse of the Real Racing 2 logo, and today we have been graced with this little nugget: Real Racing 2 will feature real licensed cars! But even this awesome news comes in a trimmed down form, as Firemint has only revealed two of the licensed cars that will be making their way into the game: the 2006 BMW Z4 M Coupe Race Car (left in the image above) and the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette C6.R (right in the image above).  There was no mention of how many licensed cars will be included in the game, if this will have any effect on damage modeling, or any other related topic you can possibly think of. Firemint did include a high resolution version of the game's App Store icon, however, which also includes the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette C6.R.  You can see the icon in all of its glory below. That's it for today, but you can bet that Firemint already has another detail regarding this highly anticipated sequel waiting in the wings to be released, so stay tuned.
