iPhone And iPad Apps Gone Free: Pulse News Reader, Radiant, Doodle Calc, And More

You can sync articles for offline viewing, and share your favorites via email, Facebook, Twitter, and Instapaper. You can also share your favorite feeds with a friend just by bumping your two devices together. Pulse News Mini is now available for free. It has a four-star rating and a total of 73 ratings. Radiant ($.99 -> Free): A retro-inspired shooter that includes over 60 levels, eight boss battles, 12 power-ups, three difficulty levels, six upgradable weapons, and online leaderboards. Radiant is available for free today only (11/15). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 19 ratings. Super Laser: The Alien Fighter ($.99 -> Free): A vertical shooter that includes six worlds to conquer, tons of different weapons to unleash, two different crafts to pilot, three different control methods, three difficulty levels, and Plus+ integration. Synth Racing ($.99 -> Free): A fast-paced racer that requires you to avoid obstacles in order to keep your speed up by tilting your device. You can also perform barrel rolls, tilt your craft vertically to fit through tight spots, and boost through easy sections. The game also features three courses, four vehicles, and a smooth framerate. Synth Racing is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating and a total of 610 ratings. Adventures of Papa Wheelie ($.99 -> Free): A tilt controlled platformer where you are a giant wheel named Papa Wheelie trying to save your family. The game includes 64 levels to roll through. Adventures of Papa Wheelie is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 11 ratings. iQuoit ($.99 -> Free): Toss rings at rare items in order to obtain them and earn the highest score. Rings are tossed by tapping and holding for power, and then flicking in the direction you want your ring to go. The game features three different gameplay modes, tons of different items to collect, and OpenFeint integration. iQuoit is available for free today only (11/15). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 52 ratings. Bear Vs Penguins ($.99 -> Free): A castle defense game where you must deploy all kinds of different characters to stop the penguins. The game includes 20 levels and 30 different penguins. Bear Vs Penguins is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating and a total of 48 ratings. iDrop Dead ($.99 -> Free): A physics-based puzzle game where you must toss one of nine characters down each of the 18 levels to accomplish specific goals. The game also includes five worlds, four game modes, and achievements. iDrop Dead is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 868 ratings. iPad: Pulse News Reader ($1.99 -> Free): Like the iPhone version above, only this one has an iPad-optimized UI. Pulse News Reader is now available for free. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 2,564 ratings. Doodle Calc ($.99 -> Free): A doodle-themed calculator for your iPad that also includes extra problem solving screens to determine area, volume, percentages, and more. Doodle Calc is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating and a total of five ratings. Radiant HD ($.99 -> Free): Just like the iPhone version above, only it features iPad-optimized graphics and controls. Radiant HD is available for free today only (11/15). It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 21 ratings. The app must be free for at least one whole day.
It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
