Announcing The November Inductees To The App Hall Of Fame
by Staff Writer
November 9, 2010
The App Hall of Fame has 12 new inductees for the month of November. Last month was the inaugural induction we detailed here. The choices are from a selection committee comprised of 40 web and print publications including AppAdvice. To be eligible, apps must have been in the App Store for six months, and the top 12 vote getters from the selection committee each month will be inducted.
The newest inductees I'm especially proud of, highlighted by Tilt To Live which I personally pushed. Other great entires are Harbor Master, Fruit Ninja, Pocket God, and Dropbox that are so deserving by perfectly embody iOS apps. Apple has started their own App Hall of Fame in iTunes, and this a completely separate effort, but Apple must have liked the idea.
Without further ado I present the November inductees into the App Hall of Fame:
Harbor Master by Imangi Studios, LLC
OmniFocus by The Omni Group
Reeder by Silvio Rizzi
Yelp by Yelp
Pocket God by Bolt Creative
Real Racing by Firemint
Tilt to Live by One Man Left
Facebook by Facebook
Bebot - Robot Synth by Normalware
Fruit Ninja by Halfbrick Studios
Dropbox by Dropbox
Blue Defense! by John Kooistra
Every month we will be adding 12 new apps to the Hall of Fame so keep an eye out. Let us now what you think of the new additions. The entire App Hall of Fame.
