New Potato Technologies Announces TuneLink Auto Bluetooth-To-FM Transmitter

November 28, 2010
If you love listening to iTunes music in your car, but hate the hassles of wired connections, TuneLink could be the solution. The $99 gadget lets you listen to music from your Apple device through your car speakers using Bluetooth and FM radio. It also works over your car's auxiliary (AUX ) input. Created by New Potato Technologies, Inc. the TuneLink device works with the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad. According to a press release received by AppAdvice:
TuneLink allows users to experience their music through their car speakers without the hassles of wired connections while providing an all-in-one car audio experience. Incorporating a best-of-class Bluetooth transceiver, FM transmitter and advanced fast-charge isolated USB charging port, TuneLink brings real innovation to a digital audio accessory market that is crowded with clunky docks, cabled solutions and poor-performing dongle-based FM transmitters.
The TuneLink device works with the free app by the same name.

Playing iTunes music through a car's FM radio has always been a challenge. Depending on where you are, and how many FM stations are in the area, the actual sound quality ranges from adequate to poor with most systems. Hopefully, TuneLink is a better solution. The $99 TuneLink device is available today from its developers; the free app is available in the App Store.
