Death Worm has a rather interesting background as it's a new destructive worm game based off of the original Windows game Death Worm by JTR. This is the official iPhone port of Death Worm, but it's following on the heels of the very successful Super Mega Worm which is also a destructive worm game. Death Worm is coming from PlayCreek who you might remember developed Stoneloops of Jurassica which was pulled from the App Store as the creators of Luxor called foul.
PlayCreek has submitted Death Worm to Apple for approval, and has released the official trailer of the game. Death Worm takes a more realistic looking approach rather than the pixel art of Super Mega Worm. When it's released we will see how these killer worms match up. When Death Worm is approved it will include 45 different levels across three worlds with 30 enemy types, 3 types of worms including worm customization, and a mini-game. The game will also support Retina Display and Game Center.
Silverfish is an upcoming arcade action game that uses the accelerometer, and looks to have a similar style to Tilt To Live. The game is from the makers of Pinch 'n Pop and Pollywog which are both very well made games that never really caught on in the App Store. This one looks equally well polished, just with a neon geometry theme, and less cuteness, and will support the Retina Display.
There will be multiple game modes, and Game Center online high scores and achievements. Silverfish has also been submitted to Apple, and the trailer was just released.
