Skyfire Is Back On The App Store For A Limited Time

November 5, 2010
A few quick words to notify those of you who've been wanting to try Skyfire. The latest Flash-enabling App Store sensation is now back on the Store for a very limited time. Skyfire, which was first released this past Wednesday, allows you to watch Flash video from any website, directly on your iDevice. It works thanks to a cluster of servers that will re-encode all those flash videos and stream them to you. Skyfire was such a success on release, that five hours after its launch, its developers had to pull it so as to not compromise the entire service. Apparently they have increased their capacity a little bit, and are releasing a second batch of apps. So if you want to try it out, go grab it fast. Skyfire for iPhone is available on the App Store now, for $2.99.
