Space Miner Blast Hits The App Store For Free; Space Ore Bust On Sale

Space Miner Blast, Venan's long-awaited freemium arcade spinoff of the hit space RPG, Space Miner: Space Ore Bust, is finally available in the App Store.
Space Miner Blast does away with the story elements found in its bigger sibling and focuses on arcade shooting action. In the game you blast asteroids using on-screen controls and grab the ore that drops to not only move up the Game Center leaderboards, but to also upgrade your ship. Enemies will fly into your line of site as well and, when blasted, will drop weapon power-ups.
Space Miner Blast includes a single ship that can be upgraded throughout the game, a total of 25 achievements to be earned in Game Center, and online leaderboards. It is completely free to play, but you will have to put up with ads.
However, you can remove those pesky ads by purchasing any of the three additional ships, each of which are priced at $.99 and are already upgraded, or you can get the whole lot of them for $1.99. You are also rewarded with Retina graphics if you choose to spend a single penny, otherwise you will have to put up with the normal, everyday graphics.
To celebrate Space Miner Blast's launch, Space Miner: Space Ore Bust is on sale for $1.99, down from $4.99.
