Tivo App Is Finally Heading To App Store

Tivo, so far, has not been a player in the App Store. However, the Alviso, California-based company will soon release its own app for the iPad. From the looks of it, Tivo users could be in for a nice surprise.
According to 9To5Mac, the app will include a virtual button-based remote control and a set of gesture-based controls for navigating recordings. Users will also be able to program recordings while on the go and use the app with Facebook.
The app will only work with Tivo Premiere hardware and not with older devices.
