VideoQube For iPad - Stream and Download Videos To Your iPad!

November 16, 2010
VideoQube is an online service for streaming your own videos to any Flash-enabled web browser, or now, the iPad. The service starts off with a free 10GB account. Paid accounts provide either 50GB or 100GB of storage. The service looks very elegant. The downside to the service is that you must upload all of your videos to the VideoQube site to begin watching them. The process of doing this is slower than syncing the videos directly onto your iPad. It takes around 30 minutes (depending on your upload speed) to upload a 40 minute TV show.

VideoQube itself is very sleek. The app is currently iPad only and allows you to download or stream content stored on your VideoQube account. The app also allows you to delete videos from your account. The app gives you access to playlists, but doesn't allow you manage them. Stats are also given in the app. You can see how many videos you have, how long they are, how much space is left on your account, and more. The app currently does not offer uploads from the iPad. The upload tab simply instructs you on how to do this from your computer. You may find this service helpful, but many have already started to use ZumoCast or AirVideo for watching their content on the go. What do you use for video on the go?
