Coming Soon Or Not, White iPhone 4 Looks Inferior

December 7, 2010
The White iPhone 4 Might Be Coming, But It Looks Problematic. For those few still waiting for the white iPhone 4, we’ve got some information for you. It isn't news worth celebrating. In fact, it looks like the the device could be a real stinker. According to the AppleInsider, the infamous device was spotted in Seattle, Washington. Its owner, “an Italian man, reportedly claimed he was testing the device for Apple, and that it would go on sale in Europe in February.” This person also claimed the device was modified so the iPhone 4 antenna issue no longer exists. He also stated "Apple was having problems keeping the edges of the device from yellowing." Here is a photo of the device spotted in the wild:

Finally, the folks at Macnotes.de have released the following YouTube video. In it, they claim the white glass used on the device causes camera flash issues. The glass causes photos to be overexposed.

In October, Apple announced another delay for the white iPhone 4. At the time, the Cupertino, California-based company stated the device would arrive sometime in "Spring 2011." Apple confirmed this news recently.

Also, in October, we wondered why the company would release the device at all. The same thought remains today. Since Apple traditionally announces new iPhone models in early summer, why would they release an older version of the device so close to the next one?

The items mentioned in this article only confirm that, despite months of delay, the white iPhone could still not be ready for release.

Who would buy an iPhone that becomes discolored and takes overexposed photos? What do you think? Leave your comments below.
