Huffington Post For iPad App Redesigned For The Better

The less gratifying news apps are the ones that simply repackage their websites for Apple’s devices. This was true for the Huffington Post app, which debuted soon after the introduction of the iPad last spring. However, the app has been completely redesigned with its 2.0 update. Released this week, the update includes a cool new feature called the Huff Post NewsGlide. Currently in a “beta” state, the NewsGlide feature allows users to glide between articles according to category. Categories include: News, Blogs, Slideshows, and Popular.

I found each article beautifully arranged and each loaded quickly. The app is now a winner and superior to its predecessor. The free Huffington Post app is available in the App Store.
