Today's AGF list includes a space-themed real-time strategy game, a tile sliding game that uses whatever your camera sees to create the puzzle, an app that allows your children to send letters to Santa and receive a response, and much more. The Screetch ($.99 -> Free): Drop spheres Tetris-style into the playing field in order to match three or more of the same kind.  The task is more difficult than it sounds since spheres are constantly being covered up by a black substance.  The game features Game Center integration. Blocks Mania Premium ($.99 -> Free): A puzzle game that requires you to guide your crazy block to the X in each level.  It's a sliding game, so you have to make sure the block hits something on its path, otherwise it will fly off of the screen.  The game features two graphical themes, 60 levels, and Game Center integration. Blocks Mania Premium is available for free today only (12/8). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 110 ratings. TightWire ($.99 -> Free): Test your tilt skills by helping the daredevil cross the tight wire.  You are in total control of both forward and side-to-side movements.  An indicator at the bottom of the screen shows you if you are about to tumble to the ground.  The game features a handful of levels with different distances to cross, global leaderboards, and the ability to calibrate your device. TightWire is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-star rating and a total of 1623 ratings. geoFighter ($2.99 -> Free): A Geometry Wars clone where you control a spaceship using dual joysticks.  The left joystick controls your movement and the right your direction of fire.  The goal is to simply rack up as many points as possible before running out of lives.  The game features two modes of play and power-ups. geoFighter is available for free today only (12/8). Red Conquest - Episodes 1 & 2 ($3.99 -> Free): A space-themed real-time strategy game with fantastic neon graphics.  The game features multiple modes of play, tons of depth, multiple difficulty levels, and local multiplayer.  It's perfect for both casual and veteran RTS game fans. Red Conquest is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-star rating and a total of 32 ratings. Scrambleface ($.99 -> Free): A unique tile sliding game that utilizes your iPhone's camera.  Instead of using static puzzle pieces, your puzzle consists of whatever your front or back camera is seeing.  The game features 21 levels, 3x3 and 4x4 grids, and time challenges. Scrambleface is available for free today only (12/8). It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of 15 ratings. Fairy Cubes ($.99 -> Free): A 3D puzzle game where you must spin and tap the collection of cubes in order to match three like ones to remove them from the level.  You must remove all cubes before the trays on each side of the screen fill up, but they can come in handy as well since the cubes in the trays can also be used to match.  The game features 45 levels and three difficulty levels. Fairy Cubes is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of six ratings. Woolly the Jumper ($.99 -> Free): A platform game where you must help Woolly the sheep escape Farmer Brown by controlling his jumping angle and power.  The game features four difficulty levels, puzzles that become more difficult as you progress, and Agon Online integration. Universal: Letters to Santa Claus ($.99 -> Free): Allows your child to construct letters to Santa and receive responses about an hour later to avoid raising any suspicion.  Children can include cookies, bells, or mittens with their letters, and the response will mention something about them.  Responses don't promise your child anything. Letters to Santa Claus is available for free for a limited time. It has a four-and-a-half-star rating and a total of five ratings. iPad: Fairy Cubes HD ($2.99 -> Free): Like the iPhone version above, only optimized for iPad. Fairy Cubes HD is available for free today only (12/8). It has a four-star rating and a total of seven ratings. MotionCalendar 2010 ($2.99 -> Free): An elegant calendar that displays the date and time, and a seasonal scene in motion.  It also allows you to take notes, and doubles as a nice screensaver. MotionCalendar 2010 is available for free for a limited time. It has a three-and-a-half-star rating and a total of eight ratings.   • The app must be free for at least one whole day.
  • It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
  • The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
