Dr. Seuss Camera - The Grinch Edition ($1.99) by Oceanhouse Media is an adorable app that lets you put yourself into the Dr. Suess classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Now you can pull such a great Grinchy trick. With this app and an iPhone, you’ll look just like the Grinch!
Create fun holiday cards or just add a silly, festive touch to your photos. Start by choosing a card. You get over a dozen choices from which to choose - you can “be” the Grinch, his dog Max, Cindy Lou Who, or one of the other citizens of Whoville. Or, you can just have the Grinch join you in a photo.
Once you select a card, you can tap the camera icon to take a photo or the number icon to set a camera timer, which you then activate by tapping the camera icon. If you prefer, you can tap the stack o’ photos icon to use a photo from your library. Now that you have a photo, simply drag, pinch to zoom, and rotate to fit into the card.
Next, tap the right arrow. Here you’ll see a pencil icon on the bottom left, which bring up more icons. The rectangle icon lets you choose a frame. The star icon gives you a bunch of stickers you can place on your card. The “T” icon removes the card’s text, or replaces it if you tap it again. You can undo your stamps and border by tapping the trash can icon.
Tap the left arrow to go back to the other menu. Next to that pencil icon you’ll see a mail icon. From there you can Email, Save to Photo Library, or Copy to Clipboard.
