Rapid Review: Save Toshi - Get A Copy Free
Save Toshi (Free) by Nitako The pop star Toshi-San lives to dance and dances to live, but sadly can’t get to the dance floor without your help. She is stacked on blocks, and you need to knock the blocks out from under her so she lands on the dance floor while being careful not to knock her in the water. I’s a new physics puzzle game, but this time in 3D, and it comes from the makers of Rasta Monkey and Eco-Punk.
The game has an Anime type theme, and the 3D graphics are all sharp, and look great from the structures to the backgrounds. It’s funny to see Toshi dance when you complete a level, and there is also a humor in the few Toshi sayings. The game includes three chapters with 20 levels each giving you 60 in total with each one scored based on a three star scale.
The game is simple to control as you tap where you want to toss a ball, and you swipe to rotate the camera angle. It’s simple to allow you to focus solely on the challenging puzzles that start easy enough, but become quite complex in the later two chapters. It’s not necessarily hard to complete a level, but to achieve three stars it is, and there is replayability in that.
The game offers a nice balance of challenge and fun as you try to collapse the structures while keeping Toshi safe in the collapse. There is a hint system in case you get stuck, and every single level offers a unique design offering plenty of variability. A lot of fun is in the theme to go with the engaging gameplay.
The best aspect is that Save Toshi has launched for free, and is currently free as of 12/21. Definitely pick it up for free, and the game is still worth picking up when it goes up in cost.
