Unnecessary Censorship App Pulled From App Store
December 22, 2010
Every developer has the right to earn a buck. Sometimes, apps are released which, for some, are seen as unnecessary and crude.
Take the Unnecessary Censorship app which debuted this week and then was promptly pulled from the App Store.
Like the similar Photo Bubbler, the app allowed users to blur certain areas of a subject to make them look like they were hiding something inappropriate.
In this case, videos could be blurred as well as photos.
Cult of Mac said the app was pulled for “bug fix” related reasons, which I hope was the case. If it doesn't return, it would be a shame. It actually looks like a lot of fun.
Here is a video:
If Unnecessary Censorship does return to the App Store, it should be available here.
