All of you Amazon Gold Box addicts out there can finally stop scrolling through your Twitter feeds to keep tabs on the latest deals because the online retail giant has released a standalone iPhone app just for you.
Amazon Deals helps you to stay up-to-date with Amazon's beloved Gold Box deals while you are on the go. It displays the deal of the day immediately on launch, and allows you to pan through the current lightning deals with the flick of your finger. Lightning deals have an up-to-the-second timer in the upper right corner of the screen and display the availability, or claimed percentage, near the top as well.
You can also pre-plan your day to ensure you don't miss out on something you really, really want. The app displays the current deals along with deals that will be taking place later on in the day and, if you desire, it can send you a push notification to notify you of a deal that is taking place.
All of the Gold Box deals can be purchased from the app itself as long as you are signed in with your Amazon account. It also allows you to view items in your shopping cart, track your items, view or cancel orders, or even share deals with friends via email, SMS, Facebook, or Twitter.
Amazon Deals is now available in the App Store for free. It does duplicate some of the features found in Amazon Mobile, but if you need to plan your day of deals and want to receive push notifications for those deals, this is your app.
