Attending CES? Find Your Way Around Las Vegas (And Nevada) For Free With Navigon's New App
January 4, 2011
Navigon and Audi have teamed up to offer CES 2011 goers a free and convenient way to navigate the streets of Las Vegas. The just-launched iPhone app, Audi Las Vegas Navigator, is based on Navigon's popular turn-by-turn app, MobileNavigator, but is limited to the state of Nevada and is heavily branded.
“CES visitors have tight schedules and need to get around the event quickly. AUDI AG and NAVIGON come together to guide them around Las Vegas stress free and in style with a premium navigation app,” said Gerhard Mayr, vice-president worldwide mobile phones & new markets.Although it's available for free, Audi Las Vegas Navigator isn't short on features. It includes multi-language support, turn-by-turn directions, lane guidance, night mode, weather conditions, parking locations, location sharing, full POI search, and much more. And, if you are traveling by foot, Audi Las Vegas Navigator can still lend you a hand thanks to its pedestrian mode, which provides precise walking directions. Audi Las Vegas Navigator is now available for free in the App Store. It's being provided for a limited time, so download it while you can. Also, if you aren't attending CES but are a Nevada resident, feel free to take the app for a spin since it features map data for the entire state and not just Las Vegas.
