BeejiveIM For iPhone Update Adds The Ability To Share Your Location

Beejive has updated their rather popular instant messaging app for iPhone, BeejiveIM, with the ability to share your exact location within seconds, so you can save yourself the hassle of typing out a long-winded message to a friend that wants to meet up.
The new feature can be found in the drop-down menu that appears when tapping on the navigation bar in any chat window. By tapping on the location icon -- the one with an arrow and a drop pin -- you will bring up a new screen within the app that displays your exact location on Google Maps. You can then send this location to a friend, which will provide them with a link to your coordinates on Google Maps, complete with your current address. It's not exactly earth-shattering stuff, but it is a convenient feature that's long overdue.
The recent update to BeejiveIM also fixes a couple of bugs that plagued the previous version, and adds some UI enhancements.
The latest version of BeejiveIM with Push is available in the App Store for its usual price of $9.99.
