Friendly Plus For Facebook Now Lets You Comment On And Like Photos, Poke Friends, And More

Facepad may be the most recognized Facebook app for iPad, at least as of late, but my personal favorite is still Friendly Plus for Facebook simply because its developers, Oecoway, work tirelessly to keep the updates flowing. Friendly recently received another major update, its fourth in the same amount of months, which adds a variety of handy features that aim to bring the iPad Facebook experience as close to the real thing as possible.
The most exciting addition to Friendly Plus for Facebook has to be the ability to add comments and like photos via the full-screen photo viewer. Before this update, the app simply brought you to the actual site via the built-in browser.
The new button can be found on the right side of the screen directly below the right arrow. It displays the amount of comments a photo has received and, when tapped on, will bring up a new field revealing who has been tagged in the image, the comments associated with that image, and the ability to like the image.
The app now features access to your Facebook game feed via a button at the very top of the screen and an enhanced request field. The game feed isn't fully integrated, however, as it brings you into the built-in browser instead of displaying the feed right in the app.
Friendly also now provides you with the ability to poke a friend when they have gone dormant, a new quick photo upload button, quicker chat connections, an enhanced inbox for long message threads, faster login, a brand new icon, and a variety of other small fixes.
The latest version of Friendly Plus for Facebook is now available in the App Store for $.99. If you are a little low on cash, just pick up the free ad-supported version of Friendly, which includes all of the same features and updates.
