Liberty Wings ($.99 -> Free): Control a WWII airplane and make your way through the enemy defenses using tilt or touch controls. The game offers three different game styles, or perspectives, which mixes up the gameplay quite a bit. It features 12 campaign levels, a free play mode, and OpenFeint integration.

iBriscola ($1.99 -> Free): The classic Italian card game in digital form. The game features multiple backgrounds, different card sets based on region, stat tracking, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer via Game Center.

AR Invaders ($.99 -> Free): Like Quill Pen Studio's other augmented reality game, AR Invaders requires you to simply look through your iPhone's camera and shoot down spaceships, only this one features gyroscope support, so iPhone 4 and fourth-gen iPod touch owners can shoot with precision. The game includes nine levels, stand up and sit down modes, and multiplayer.

eFinger Handwriting Notes 易福手写记事本 ($.99 -> Free): Take notes by actually writing with the tip of your finger. Every time you write a word, the app automatically places it in the field next to your previous word, and you can then manipulate the words using various swipe gestures if need be. Notes can also be shared via email.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
