The Battle Of Gundabad - iPhone's First Deck Building Game
Battle of Gundabad ($1.99) by Sheeta Creative Limited is a card game involving game play with a fixed deck, as opposed to a collectible card trading game. Here, you build your deck as you progress through the game, from a pool of collectively available supply cards. You are given the option of playing through the campaign mode, a series of pre-established scenarios, or a normal game, where you play with access to all cards.
Those unfamiliar with the concept of a deck building game will find little entertainment here. While there is a tutorial, it explains nothing, and you are presented with only the vaguest of overviews as to the rules of the game. However, this game is a clone of Dominion, an already immensely popular card game. Those that have played Dominion are already adequately equipped to tackle Battle of Gundabad. Those that have never played Dominion will find Battle of Gundabad an incomprehensible and indecipherable wreck.
