Catch Food For Your Favorite Frogs With Frog Clash
Frog ClaSh HD ($1.99) by Till & Michaela Maginot is a fast paced adventure with four frogs. The goal is simple; catch food for your frogs. However, the user must be careful to not accidentally feed them the wrong items. This is where the challenge comes into play. There are several bugs you can feed them, but there are also several bugs and items you cannot feed them. The user must have quick hand and eye coordination to catch the right items to feed the frogs.
The game uses a similar level design as popular titles such as “Angry Birds” and “Cut the Rope.” This is because they use a point system, which is then graded on a scale of one to three stars, exactly like the other two titles. Usually we like to see originality in games, but the point and star system seems to be appearing in many titles these days and is fine. The game also features multiple stations (chapters) each with their own levels.
Though the game is offered on both the iPhone and the iPad, the graphics were not very impressive on the iPad. They seemed to lack crispness. We also ran into an audio glitch that we hope will be addressed in a future update.
Overall the app offers a fun fast paced game, with a simple goal and progressively harder levels. With Facebook and Twitter integration and plenty of levels, users are sure to enjoy this new title.
